TENA have been working with the UK’s largest bladder patient support charity and leading news organisation ITN to produce a video that was premiered at a major conference for healthcare professionals.
The ‘Bladder Health: Breaking Boundaries’ news and current affairs-style programme was anchored by ITN Productions presenters Sharon Thomas and Duncan Golestani and premiered at the Association for Continence Advice annual conference in May.
The event was attended by continence advisors, continence nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, urology nurses, and specialist nurses – as well as doctors and allied healthcare professionals with an interest in continence care.
Incontinence remains a taboo subject for many, and it was great to work with the leading charity Bladder Health UK on this awareness-raising initiative. With extensive advertising and marketing – including a campaign on LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube – we are confident that our support for the campaign will help it reach an audience currently unaware that with the right treatment and support bladder problems can be managed and need not interfere with everyday life.
The full programme is available on the Bladder Health UK website and the ITN Media Hub, but you can check out a snippet of the campaign below:
